Welcome to Burleigh Arts Group Inc (BAG)

We are a not for profit incorporated association that has been established in Burleigh for over 5 years. We pride ourselves in being a significant support and mentoring group for creative people in the region.

Our aims and objectives are;

To establish an arts base in Burleigh to promote local artists in both visual and performing arts

To create a network for artists and arts related businesses to provide an outlet for artists to showcase their talents

To connect artists with the local community, making art publicly accessible through our events, exhibitions, projects and festivals

To educate both artists and people in the community by providing access to speakers on self promotion, professional development within the arts industry

Involvement in the advocacy of local arts practice and cultural policy

To be a pro-active group for arts participation on the Gold Coast and surrounding region.

Burleigh Arts Group Inc encourages members from a diverse range of artforms such as visual artists, sculptors, photographers, ceramicists, performing arts, dance and music to name just a few. We promote and encourage innovative ideas, projects and exhibitions to assist in creatives/artists in gaining employment and career opportunitries in the arts .
